Scientists and the whole world are excited about finding evidence that once life existed on what is now a long-dead planet. The following are Extracts translated from brittle documents found buried in the ruins of what appears to be an ancient temple, possibly used as a bomb shelter. Some fragments read like Headlines from Hell! Others have philosophical insights deep enough to suggest that at least some intelligent life once did live on this sad wreck of a planet.

The Charred Volume seems to be a diary, journal or eyewitness account written by a Secretary or perhaps a Praetorian Guard near the palace throne.

Experts believe a female wrote the handwritten script. The tragic end of their species suggests that its ancient inhabitants had become technologically advanced enough to destroy themselves; but they didn’t rise enough to save themselves from being  deceived, ruled and ruined by psychopathic miscreants.

Scientists now believe its long extinct inhabitants called their home world - the third plant in that system... “earth.”
