Was it Einstein who said, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”? No matter, whoever said it; many of us whispered and wondered if our supreme leader wasn’t mad.* He fancied himself Caesar, but he was more like Nero or Caligula, or so many evil emperors of the past.

Evil “advisors” played him the way Nero played his fiddle, while he burned Rome (and blamed it on the Christians). They flattered him he should declare himself dictator for life – and rule the world. They told him he had a legal and moral duty to be the new Caesar ruling a neo-Roman Empire.* They told him the road to rule – was the pretext of war. His wars had bankrupted his Empire, but they told him the way to “prosperity” was More War.

Opposition enraged him, so he provoked his enemies: “Bring it on!” No matter how many you kill, blind and main, I don’t care. You can’t hurt me, so ‘Bring it on!’”

safe and secure inside a hollowed out mountain, built to house a secret, shadow government. *4 They said they set it up to run the country in case calamity ever came upon ... what we used to call our country. Looking back, we should have known it stopped being “our” country, when the Supreme-Decider renamed it, “the homeland.” Even being in a daze after the shock of 9/11 it sounded startling, strange – grating to the soul, like chalk on a blackboard. But the media repeated it over and over, and soon most of us repeated it as if “the homeland” was what we had always called our country.

America Had Been Hijacked. Crazed fanatics had taken control and crashed us headlong into terror, tyranny and total never-ending war. Only Empires have homelands, not democracies nor republics. Yet few dared speak openly of empire; most hid behind euphemisms, such as “homeland” and our far-flung “benevolent hegemony.” Rome had fallen from a republic down to a brutal, hated empire. More and more America looked like a neo-Roman Empire.

Yet, now after all I have witnessed, it is clear, we really weren’t even an empire. We were merely the cash cow of blood and treasure, the breeding pens, the supply depot, the staging base, the administrative headquarters of a crass corporative Imperium, blindly obeying orders to keep smaller colonies subjected to imperial dominion. Even with all our military might, we had become nothing but a powerless colony of underpaid drones and cannon fodder, exploited and ruined by a supra-national Empire of International Finance and multinational Corporations, the global Emporium. *5

What was the date we changed from a democratic republic of the people, by the people and for the people into a national security police state of, for and ruled by a global, corporate empire? It just happened, inch by inch, gradually, step by step.

Who is to Blame?

Was it the ones in high places whose plots exploded in their faces? Big Oil? War profiteers? Neo-con fanatics obsessed with ruling the world with a neo-Roman Empire? Was it “the military/industrial complex” that President Eisenhower warned our parents and grandparents to beware of hijacking our country – that had morphed into the far more dangerous “military-industrial-Intelligence” cabal? Was it the crooked politicians who groveled before the Fat Cats, like pigs pushing and shoving to get their snouts in the slop trough? Or was it the media for covering up the facts, distracting us with worthless fluff and junk news?

Or Is The Blood On Our Hands – we who saw the handwriting on the wall, but were too lazy, too greedy for the crumbs tossed to us, or too fearful of the powers that be – we, who failed to stand up, speak out and fight for truth and justice, while we still had time?

It will be a miracle if anyone survives to read this dying declaration. Nevertheless, it is my duty to warn you of the dangers that threaten you. Be thankful for every breath, and heed this warning:

BEWARE! Don’t make these same mistakes! Don’t let this happen to you.

What Happened First? Who Is Responsible? Who Bears The Guilt?

“In war, truth is the first casualty.” That was true since the first war, before Aeschylus the ancient Greek, writer of tragedies, wrote it. It was especially true in this tragic war, that is frightfully turning out to be mankind’s last war. Those lies threaten to make us the final casualties in this cataclysm. * 6

The Catastrophe that overwhelmed us is like a nightmare – a never-ending chain reaction of endless nightmares – each worse than the last! Blurry images of bodies, body parts, bombs, burning cities haunt and sear my soul. Some of these events happened all at once. It’s hard to say which came first. Communications were so erratic we often didn’t know about some disasters until long after. Even with broken lines of communications, we who were at the nexus of the secret government knew much more than the poor devils who had no TV, no radio, no internet, no telephones, nothing but terrifying rumors. No way to know, to prepare, to protect themselves from wave after wave of terror.

It Must Have Been Terrifying for women hiding in the dark, in the shells of burned out buildings, shivering, starving, hushing their hungry children for fear a sound would attract a roving rapist – or worse. As terrible as the Unknown was – we who had reports coming in from all over America and the world knew the nightmarish reality was even worse than anything these poor people could imagine.

It all started with a “cake walk” to “make the world safer” by ridding the world of weapons of mass destruction and bringing the evil force behind 9/11 to justice. * 6a But there were no WMDs! Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. So then they told us we went to war to liberate an oppressed people from a bloody tyrant. * 6b A wonderful side effect they said was to keep the price of gas and oil low, but it only increased our costs – the profits of Big Oil. Then they told us it was “to keep us safe by fighting terrorism,” but their war multiplied terrorism a million-fold. * 5a Like a narcissistic Caesar the Chicken-hawk-in-chief donned the costume of a gladiator and swaggered on stage to the acclaim of the crowds as he crowed, “Mission Accomplished!” It was lies, all lies. What bitter fruit those lies have wrought.

Who Started The Final Global Holocaust? No one knew which regime first “defensively” attacked Iran because of the barrage of lying cover stories. The smokescreens of disinformation and lies were almost as thick the choking, toxic clouds of raging radiological and chemical storms that would inexorably blot out the sun. Ultimately, who started it didn’t matter, because the burning hatred of billions against both the United States and Israel blazed hotter than the nukes that incinerated the “collateral damage” – newspeak for countless dead Iranian women and children.

But I’m getting ahead of myself, to prevent these horrors we have to look at how this Disaster came upon us – step by step – lie by lie.

We should have listened to the best of our statesmen and military leaders who warned us:

WAR IS A RACKET! *10 War was always the plutocratic way to reap profits and jolt-start the economy after they had sucked it lifeless. But when the one who sits on the throne imagines God is saying Rain Fire down upon their Heads – and then does it – truly WAR IS HELL – on Earth!
